WELCOME

 I teach violin, piano and theory to students of all ages and abilities.  I take violin and theory students up to Grade 8 and piano students up to Grade 5.

Lessons are 30 minutes in length for beginners up to Grade 4 or 5 and will usually include 10 minutes of theory.  Thereafter lesson lengths will increase to 45 minutes and then an hour for the higher grades.  For those wishing to take practical exams there is a requirement for Grade 5 theory before practical exams of Grade 6 and above can be taken with the Associated Boards of the Royal Schools of Music.

As you reach the higher grades then lessons need to be longer to cover all the material and so an hour is necessary.

Autumn Term:
Monday 6th September 2010 to Saturday 23rd October 2010
Half Term: 25th to 29th October
Monday 1st November 2010 to Saturday 18th December 2010

Spring Term:
Monday 3rd January 2011 to Saturday 19th February 2011
Half Term: 21st to 25th February
Monday 28th February 2011 to Saturday 9th April 2011

Summer Term:
Monday 25th April 2011 to Saturday 28th May 2011
Half term: 30th May to 3rd June
Monday 6th June 2011 to Saturday 23rd July 2011
